Employee Liaisons – Hormel Foods has staff who serve as bilingual “Employee Liaisons,” helping other employees with English translation both in and outside the workplace. These liaisons help employees who do not speak English fluently communicate with medical providers, schools, teachers, landlords, financial institutions, etc.
English as a Second Language (ESL) Course – Hormel Foods partners with local community and technical colleges to provide ESL classes to employees. The company also has taught Spanish to supervisors.
